Thanks for reading: Support Women’s Sports is a fan-written and centered newsletter. It is the next step of a project I started in 2010 to elevate women’s sports stories and athletes. I am a full-time feminist creator and your support of this newsletter, both as a subscriber and member, helps me devote more space in my day for more content. An Incomplete All-Star Agenda
I legit cannot keep up with all the All-Star weekend events dropping. And I certainly cannot attend even half of them. Especially at the prices. To be honest, most are affordable, but start to stack them up? Oof… But here is my list of all the events that ran across my desk, aka my phone screen. As of this writing more are popping up. Take Monday the 27th off, Chicago.

Event Calendar:
Saturday, July 18th is a women’s sports bar crawl starting at Babe’s going to Whiskey Girl to Level.
All-weekend:
Whiskey Girl is throwing down all weekend. First, there is a warm-up this weekend. Then events start up back on Thursday with a Jersey Party, Friday with Whitney Peyton, Saturday is the watch party, and ending with Drag Brunch on Sunday.
Babe’s also starts the festivities on Thursday with a locals night, wine specials on Friday, party on Saturday, and Camp Hangover on Sunday.
Level has two live podcasts on Friday - Good Game with Sarah Spain and Flagrant and Funny with Jemele Hill and Cari Champion! Saturday is the watch party. Sunday is a brunch + podcast recording. I will note, because women’s sports is political, that Sunday showcases Illinois Comptroller and mayoral candidate Susana Mendoza who called for a murder suspect to be deported to a prison known human rights violations.
Nobody’s Darling is hosting events too! A watch party! A singles mixer!
Togethxr, the brand that brought us the ubiquitous “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” tee is throwing a house party. July 24-25, 2026 at 113 N Elizabeth St, Chicago, IL 60607. The line-up of events is amazing. A lot of FREE events.
Hoop Vision is also rolling into town for the weekend. Including a watch party with Skytown fan fave, Dana Evans.

Saturday, July 25th
Just Women’s Sports has a pre-game event at Bottom Lounge at 2 PM.
DJ Kidd Swag and DJ Ca$h Era are throwing a game day watch party and afterparty.
The Lesbian Social Club is throwing a beach party! Saturday, July 25th from 4 pm - 9 pm.
Project Love has a community event from 10AM–3PM at the University of Chicago
Semicolon Books is hosting a book giveaway 11AM-3PM

BANDITS!
Normally I end the newsletter with a list of other news to know, but really the only thing to put on your radar is the way the Chicago Bandits turned their season around.
The Bandits started the season 1-4 and are now in second place with a 15-8 record.
We clinched a post-season berth. Perhaps Chicago’s only post-season team!
We set an AUSL record with a nine-game win streak.
We are leading the league in a bunch of stats:
Batting average: .327
On base percentage: .418
Slugging percentage: .544
Skylar Wallace has the first 3-homer game in AUSL history.
Another women’s sports are political note: The Bandits - Talons series is moving from Chicago to Portland due to the Canadian forest fires making Chicago (and much of the northeast) a dystopian nightmare.
While this newsletter and the larger project of supporting women’s sports is my passion project, I still need to buy groceries and buy nachos at games.
